We highly recommend kindergarten at Morningstar. I have seen my child grow leaps and bounds this year. He has had the advantage of getting individualized instruction due to the small class size. His confidence and excitement around reading and math continues to grow. Miss Christine has developed a challenging and thorough program that keeps my child engaged and eager to explore. He has especially enjoyed Spanish class and the many field trips they take. Also I love the Seesaw app Miss Christine utilizes to share his daily journal entries and activities. Giving him an extra year at Morningstar has been the best decision we could have made.

What we appreciate most about the kindergarten program at Morningstar is the individualized approach to education. Both in academics and social/emotional development, our son has received the individual coaching he needs to grow into his best. The small class size allows for creative learning, education that is tailored to the interests and strengths of the group, team building, critical thinking, group discussion, and one-on-one time that is hard to find in larger classrooms. It has allowed the teacher to go beyond the required curriculum to plant the first seeds of a love of learning about the many facets of our world. Our son’s teacher has provided feedback and perspective about our son that has helped us as parents to reinforce his learning and development at home. The kindergarten program at Morningstar encourages a partnership between parents and the teacher to help the students thrive in all areas of development and learning and to establish them for their next steps in education.
